Festival for urban art
Since 2006, the ibug festival for urban art – or brownfield redevelopment for short – has been bringing art to often morbid, abandoned, historic industrial sites and breathing new life into them for several weekends a year. In 2025, ibug will be presented in Chemnitz on the occasion of the Capital of Culture year.
