Klett Kinderbuch Verlag was founded in Leipzig in 2008 as a small offshoot of the large Stuttgart-based Klett Group. It has been independent since 2015. It produces 14 to 20 new titles a year for children between the ages of 2 and 12 and their grown-ups.
