In 2017, fashion designer Maria Seifert began to let her women’s collection sew in a small manufactory in Eibenstock that had existed for forty years. After the owner retired due to health, Seifert bought the manufactory in 2019 in order to preserve the craft and to keep the long-standing employees in work.
