The band honours Carl Friedrich Uhlig, the inventor of the concertina, with an unusual line-up and a modern look ahead. It combines Argentinian tango, tango nuevo, baroque music, electro, classical sounds and modern grooves – centred around the bandoneon with violin, flugelhorn, bass ukulele and djembe.
