Me And My Chair

In the heart of the Ore Mountains, with its deeply rooted woodcraft tradition, the Faculty of Applied Arts Schneeberg (a faculty of the University of Applied Sciences Zwickau) offers individual study programmes in wood design, furniture, and product design. The project “Me And My Chair”, supervised by Prof. Jacob Strobel, presents characterful wooden chairs. The students’ prototype designs are based on emotional reflection or minimalism and range from formal references to forward-looking concepts.
